Whether dancing for fun, fitness, or working towards exams and performances, our classes are designed to nurture every dancers confidence and skill, supporting their journey every step of the way.

Our Classes

We offer a wide range of classes for dancers aged 3 and up, following the prestigious International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) syllabus. We have two studio locations: 40 Saxtons Road West (Stoke Studio) & 68 Waimea West Road (Brightwater Studio)

Preschool

  • Our preschool programme is suitable for children aged 3-5 years. These fun and engaging classes introduce the foundations of dance while exploring creative movement through a mix of ballet, jazz and theatre craft.

  • $90 - Term Fee (30min)

    Please note the above fee is set per term, there are no refunds for non-attendance.

    A $10 discount applies per class when fees are paid before the term start date.

    $12 - Casual

Ballet

  • Ballet classes are available for ages 3 and older, starting with our preschool programme. We follow The International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) syllabus, with optional yearly examinations and performance opportunities.

  • $90 - Grade Primary (30min)

    $135 - Grades 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 (45min)

    $140 - Intermediate & Advanced 1 (60-75min)

CM Jazz

  • Contemporary Modern Jazz (CMJ) classes are available for ages 6 and older. We follow The International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) syllabus, complemented by open work, with optional yearly exams and performance opportunities.

  • $135 - Grade 1 (45min)

    $140 - Grade 3 (60min)

Adults

  • We offer Adult Dance classes for ages 18+. Join us & explore a mix of dance styles in a relaxed atmosphere to connect with likeminded adults, keep active, & have some fun!

    Foundational - a back to basics approach with slightly more of a ballet focus to build strength & technique for other styles. Perfect for beginners.

    Open - a faster paced class filled with Jazz, Contemporary & more! Previous dance experience is required.

  • Casual/Trial Cost - $20

    When paid for the term:

    45min Foundational - $13 per class (Term 2 2026 $143)

    1hr Open - $14.50 per class (Term 2 2026 $159.50)

    Payment is required when booking. We are happy to reserve your spot with a 50% non-refundable deposit, or discuss a payment plan if needed.

Our team of qualified and experienced teachers are dedicated to delivering high-quality dance education that is inclusive, encouraging, and fun. Many of our junior classes are also supported by senior student assistants, creating a warm and supportive space where younger dancers can thrive.

Students have the opportunity to work towards dance exams and participate in performances throughout the year, including our annual show at the theatre.

  • We offer classes for ages 3+, from young children to adults. Whether you're a beginner or experienced dancer, we have a class that suits your skill level and goals.

  • If you're unsure about which class to start with, feel free to contact us and we can help you.

  • Yes, we can provide full details upon enrolment and often have second hand items available too.

    Preschoolers are welcome to wear non uniform items.

    For adults, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely is recommended.

  • Yes - we offer trial classes. This allows you to experience the class before making a term commitment. Please check with us for availability and details.
